Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services rented facilities for their Nurse Family Partnership staff retreat at Pretty Lake Camp.

According to their website:

Nurse-Family Partnership empowers first-time moms to transform their lives and create better futures for themselves and their babies.

Research consistently shows that Nurse-Family Partnership succeeds at its most important goals:

  • Keeping children healthy and safe
  • Improving the lives of moms and babies

Nurse-Family Partnership works by having specially trained nurses regularly visit and provide one to one support to first-time moms-to-be, starting early in the pregnancy and continuing through the child’s second birthday.

We are so grateful to be able to work to serve the needs of such an important program!

While here, Kalamazoo County HCS Nurse Family Partnership reserved our cozy and comfortable Retreat Centre arranged to have continental breakfast ready upon their arrival.

Being able to host events like this assures that we are able to continue to provide life-changing experiences through cost free summer camp to youth in Kalamazoo. On behalf of our campers and staff, we extend a huge thanks to Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services for the opportunity to serve them.
